Become Within ("we," "us") publishes https://becomewithin.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information the Site collects and how it's used. It's written in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate. If anything is unclear, contact us at hello@becomewithin.com.
What we currently collect
As of this version of the Site, there are no user accounts, no comment system and no working newsletter sign-up. The email form you may see is not yet connected to anything, and does not store or transmit the address you type into it. The Site does not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
Our hosting provider and any analytics tool we enable in the future may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring site) the way most web servers and analytics tools do. We use this only in aggregate, to understand how the Site is used and to keep it running reliably.
Analytics
If we enable an analytics provider (for example, Plausible or Google Analytics), we'll update this page to name the provider and describe what it collects. We aim to use privacy-respecting analytics wherever practical.
Email and newsletters
When email sign-up becomes active, this section will describe exactly what we collect (your email address), what we send, how often, and how to unsubscribe, along with the name of the service provider we use to send it. We will never sell or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Third-party links
The Site links to external sources, books, and, in the future, possibly affiliate and advertising partners. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more on how affiliate links are handled when they're added.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
As the Site adds features (accounts, meditations, tools, or a newsletter), this policy will be updated to reflect what's actually being collected. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever that happens.
